Train Links

Amtrak is a great way to travel from Boston or Princeton to New Haven. Trains stop at New Haven Union Station which is a 1 mile walk from the Omni Hotel. The walk is somewhat questionable, so we recommend you take a ride share, taxi, or Yale Shuttle from the train station to the hotel.

Metro North is the commuter rail from New York to New Haven.

Yale Shuttle

The Yale University Shuttle is a free service that runs year-round throughout the University and to the New Haven train stations for students, faculty and staff. It can be a great way to explore Yale’s campus while you are here. The red line of the shuttle has a stop in front of the New Haven train station, as well as on the New Haven green near the Omni Hotel.
